When We Are Closed

Call 999 in any emergency, like having chest pains or shortness of breath

NHS Advice / Out of hours - 111

If you are feeling unwell and need a telephone health assessment, please call the NHS 111 service free of charge from any phone by dialling "111". Monday till Friday nights 6.30pm - 8am & Weekends from 6.30pm on Friday till 8am on Monday

The out-of-hours telephone service provides advice and treatment to:
- registered patients
- residents staying with registered patients
- residents not yet registered with a GP
Please do not use out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery reopens. When you call, a receptionist will take details and an experienced clinician or GP will call you back. Many Tower Hamlets GPs work for this service.

Walk-in Centres

From the 1st August 2018 St Andrews and The Barkantine service will no longer offer ‘walk-in’ provision. Instead, the service will offer bookable appointment slots, available via NHS 111, or the patient’s regular practice. To use the service, residents must be registered with a Tower Hamlets GP surgery and we are encouraging everyone who is unregistered to do so.

All the centres below are open 7 days a week from 8am-8pm but you may be turned away from 7pm onwards if the centre is already very busy.
