 MISSION PRACTICE UP FOR CHANGE

Finding it hard to get a GP appointment?
Not able to have your needs met by the right person?
10 minutes always too short?

The Mission Practice wants to try and solve some of these problems  – so we are trying something different on 4 Thursday mornings in June and July 2019.
Instead of traditional appointments, we have a whole team of professionals  available on the phone who can connect you with the right person to handle your query and make sure you get the help you need. They will be able to arrange meetings for you with one or more of these people:

- GPs
- Health Care Assistants
- Nurses
- An Occupational Therapist
- Pharmacists
- Patient Assistants
- A Social Prescriber

Our Vision
This team wants to support you to be well in body, mind and spirit.
As health is not just about a lack of illness, GP surgeries need all of these professionals to support you to stay well.

Health and wellbeing depends on relationships: with ourselves, others and the wider world. Relationships are built on quality listening and good conversations; where there is time to tell your story. We want to hear your story, starting on Thursday mornings!

Patience & Feedback
We need to hear from you to know how this is working and where it needs improving.
Do bear with us while we improve our care, but don’t hesitate to share your honest experience!

Welcome to The Mission Practice

At the Mission Practice we are committed to providing an excellent medical service for all our patients; walking alongside our community, patients, staff and colleagues in Bethnal Green.

We recognise that we are all on a journey in life growing and developing all the time, and we understand that health is not just about lack of illness, but being well in body, mind and spirit.

We seek to empower people to live life in all its fullness and we are committed to caring for the whole person; encouraging faith instead of fear and working together instead of alone.

We believe that we are called by God to serve and care for our patients, and we recognise that this needs prayer and God’s strength and guidance.
