Social Prescribing - Wellbeing Linkworker

To feel well, it is important to spend time doing things that you enjoy, connecting with other people, and feeling positive in yourself.

Wilma Bol is a Wellbeing Linkworker at the Mission Practice. She works closely with the GPs, and is up to date about many local activities and courses that provide free or affordable activities or services.
Many people have said that seeing a ‘Wellbeing Linkworker’ has made them feel healthier and given them hope & motivation. They learned about activities in Bethnal Green that they didn’t know existed, like walking groups, social groups, free exercise, debt support, mindfulness classes, and much more.
These kinds of activities can offer support, advice or an opportunity to make friends, learn new things, and be part of the community. It has helped many people decrease loneliness, anxiety, stress, depression and fatigue.

Please call Reception to make a 30 minute appointment with Wilma, or contact her directly via 07908 351510 / Wilma.Bol@nhs.net. Interpreters can be arranged. Please do not call this number for any emergencies or to book appointments with other Mission Practice staff.
